A bit about me..
Hello, my name is Rawd. I am a Palestinian-Jordanian holistic mental health guide passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves and find their way back home within.
Having navigated my own experiences with fear and anxiety in this complex modern world, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to carry such a weight. My personal struggles were the catalyst that led me to a career in psychology.
As someone who has been on the receiving end of therapy, I’ve experienced the transformative power of being truly seen and heard by a compassionate listener in a non-judgmental space. This profound experience inspired me to pursue a master’s degree in Holistic Psychology at Columbia University in New York.
During my studies, I delved into subjects that deeply resonated with me, including Mind-Body Medicine, Symbolism and the Unconscious, Transpersonal Psychology and Positive Psychology. This academic journey not only provided me with a holistic understanding of mental health—encompassing the emotional, physical, mental, social, and spiritual dimensions of individuals—but also allowed me to nurture my inner world with discernment and skill. Through this process, I cultivated the emotional resilience to transform my fears and traumas into a sense of purpose.
Today, I remain committed to deepening my knowledge of effective healing modalities by participating in various trainings. I am particularly drawn to therapeutic approaches that honor the client’s sovereignty, equipping them with self-regulation tools that empower and support their daily lives.
Beyond work, I love spending my time reading, connecting with nature, practicing yoga, discovering new cuisines, and sharing cozy moments with loved ones—especially my fluffy companion, Tofu.
